The Host

A soul seeker who never left

I arrived when this stretch of the Konkan was mostly wilderness, few roads, few people, and very little reason for anyone to come here. Something about the place kept me. Thirty years later, I am still in the same wadi, still building, still changing things, still adding a wall or a window when the mood takes me. Pinakin Privé grew out of that life. It was never a project with a final drawing or a completion date. It is a place that has been allowed to evolve slowly, instinctively, and over time.

The result is not a conventional luxury stay. It is a home with a point of view, intimate, expressive, and intentionally removed from the ordinary.

The menu brings together Gujarati warmth, a few international comfort favourites, and flavours inspired by the local Konkan coast. Dietary preferences are easily accommodated, because the idea is simple: whatever is on the table should make you feel completely at home.

Pinakin prive is more for chilling bonding and catching up with family. Loud noisy pool parties must be avoided, we realise music is essential for the souls but please enjoy it indoors. The neighborhood has it own Playlist.

How many guests can stay?

The villa is designed for one group at a time. With 5 bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps 10 guests, and with extra mattresses available for 5 more, we can accommodate up to 15.

Is it always one group at a time?

Yes. The experience is intentionally designed around privacy and exclusive use of the property.

Where exactly is the villa?

This version uses demo content. Replace with the confirmed location and arrival details.

What’s included in a stay?

Breakfast is complimentary for all guests, and use of the paddle court is included.

Is there a minimum number of nights?

There's no minimum. A single night's stay is perfectly welcome.

What payment methods do you accept?

No live/online payment processing for the next 1–2 years. Cash payments prohibited. Accepted methods: Google Pay, credit card, debit card, bank transfer.

Is it pet friendly?

Yes, we love pets! We just ask that someone is on hand to clean up after them, and that they don't jump on the furniture.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-out is at 12 noon and check-in is from 2:00 pm.

What's the pool temperature like?

The pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature year-round. If you'd like it heated during winter, please request at least 2 days in advance. An additional charge applies.

Are there facilities for children?

Yes, a high chair and crib are available on request.

Is the villa wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The property sits on flat landscape and the house itself is set on a single level.

Do you offer any extra facilities?

Yes, we can arrange a male or female massage therapist for a range of treatments with prior booking, and a doctor is available on call at all times. A yoga teacher is also available on request.

What about excursions nearby?

Pinakin has a few personal favourites. If you enjoy a trek, the climb up to Kankeshwar Temple is well worth it, with a hilltop view over the Arabian Sea that is spectacular, almost divine. Architecture lovers should look up the Hiremath Museum. There's also The Guild art gallery, worth checking for current shows, and Awas Beach, expansive and quiet, just a few kilometres away.

Any restaurants or cafés nearby?

Yes, the popular deli is less than a kilometre away and doubles as an all-day coffee spot. There's also Burger & Bros nearby, and Bronos, a pizzeria that now also serves Indian food. For evening dining, Tiki's is lovely, and worth checking out for their karaoke nights.

Can we entertain at the villa?

Private entertaining is always welcome. Do note that your booking is for a private stay only, and the villa isn't an F&B or events venue, so hosting large groups, live music programmes or ticketed events isn't permitted.
